The Survey of Adult Carers in England (SACE) 2026 is open.

This postal survey is an opportunity to hear from people providing unpaid care for family or friends and create meaningful change in the lives of unpaid carers in our community.

If you are an unpaid carer who has accessed support services, you will be sent the survey directly via post. So please keep an eye out.

At the heart of this survey is a mission to understand the needs, experiences, and aspirations of our incredible carers. This isn't just about fulfilling a legal requirement; it's about doing what we can to empower each and every carer in Tower Hamlets.

The survey aims to provide:

  • Enhanced Care and Services: The responses will pave the way for improved care, services, and outcomes for our dedicated carers.
  • Insights into Carers' Lives: By understanding their views and experiences, we can create services tailored to their needs.
  • Influencing Policy: Responses will shape policies and decisions, ensuring they resonate with the realities faced by our carers.  
  • Empowering Choices: Insights from the survey will guide the services we offer, enabling carers to make informed decisions about their support.

The deadline for completing the survey questionnaire has been extended to 27 March 2026.
