About Carers Week

Carers Week is an annual campaign designed to:

• raise awareness of caring,
• highlight the challenges faced by carers
• recognise the contribution that carers make to families and communities. 

The theme for Carers Week 2023 is 'recognising and supporting carers in the community'.

We believe that unpaid carers and the challenges of caring should be recognised in all areas of life, caring should be valued and respected by everyone in our society, and carers should have access to the information and support they need, where and when they need it.

Carers Week events

Carers Centre Tower Hamlets will be delivering a programme of events to mark Carers Week 2023. For more details visit ccth.org.uk/calendar.

Tower Hamlets Early Intervention Service (THEIS) will be hosting an event on Monday 5 June from 12 - 2pm. This provides an opportunity to find out more about psychosis and to meet other carers. For further details call THEIS on 020 3487 1310.
