Adult social care postal survey 2023/24
The National Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS) takes place every year, and all councils within these services are required to take part. The survey aims to learn how effective services are in helping service users live safely and independently and the impact they’re having on their quality of life.
The survey will end on 29 March 2024 and be sent directly to service users who have received long-term services funded or managed by the council following a full assessment of need. This includes part-funded and full-cost paying clients.
The survey aims to provide:
- Enhanced care and services: the responses will pave the way for improved care, services, and outcomes for our adult service users.
- Insights into adult service users' lives: by understanding their views and experiences, we can create services tailored to their needs.
- Influencing policy: responses will shape policies and decisions, ensuring they resonate with the realities faced by our adult service users.
- Empowering choices: insights from the survey will guide the services we offer, enabling service users to make informed decisions about their support.
